Channa Hakakha



Channa Hakakha is Emek's third-grade girl's teacher. She has previously worked as a Madricha in Israel after her Seminary year. Upon returning to Los Angeles, she worked in Or Hachaim as a middle school boys Mechina teacher for all Hebrew subjects. She has her BA from Touro College, Los Angeles.

Caitlan Carroll



Caitlan Carroll was raised in the San Fernando Valley and attended de Toledo High School. Caitlan began working at Emek in 2017 as a T.A. in the first grade boys classroom. In February 2020, Caitlan became the third grade boys teacher. She graduated from the DeLeT program at Hebrew Union College with a teaching credential in 2020 and is currently pursuing her Masters in Education at the American Jewish University. 






Catherine Lamb 

Catherine Lamb was born and raised in a small town in Arizona and moved to Southern California to attend Pepperdine University where she received a bachelor's degree in English.  After receiving her masters in education and teaching credential, Ms. Lamb began her career as an English teacher at the Archer School for Girls in Brentwood.  She then moved to Our Lady of Grace in Encino where she was the lead 5th grade teacher for the last three years.  Ms. Lamb has had the opportunity to teach in several different places throughout the world such as Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, and China.  In her free time Ms. Lamb loves to be outside hiking and swimming in the ocean!
