Danielle Lototsky
Danielle Lototsky is a dedicated member of the Emek community. She's a proud parent of two Emek graduates and currently has two children enrolled at the school. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College and has honed her teaching skills through extensive training at Teachers College, Columbia University, with a focus on reading, writing, and phonics instruction.
Danielle is a strong advocate for the Science of Reading approach and has completed rigorous training through the Orton Gillingham Academy, specializing in teaching reading to children with dyslexia. With over a decade of teaching experience, she believes in personalized education, tailoring her teaching to each student's unique learning style and needs.
Danielle finds immense joy in working with her Pre-First girls in the classroom, creating a nurturing, engaging learning space. Beyond her professional life, Danielle cherishes every precious moment she can spend with her beloved family during her free time.

Briana Blum
I was born and raised in beautiful Westchester, New York. My educational background includes a BA in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island, and an MA in Multiple Subject Teaching, along with certification in Gifted Education from the University of Southern California. I have six years of teaching experience and over 12 years of working individually with children, catering to their unique learning needs. I am a passionate educator committed to engaging students in meaningful educational experiences that spark curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning. I am so excited to now be a part of the amazing Emek community!

Ariella Rosenblatt
My name is Morah Ariella Rosenblatt. I grew up right here in North Hollywood and went to school at Emek. We lived in Israel for a number of years and returned to Los Angeles where I attended YULA girls high school. I received my B.A. from California State University, Northridge and an M.A. in Education with a focus on Differentiated Curriculum and Education from California State University, Bakersfield.

Aliyah Treizman
Ms. Aliyah Treizman is a dedicated educator with a passion for fostering student growth. Growing up in Valley Village, Aliyah attended Bais Yaakov Los Angeles and continued her education at Michlalah Jerusalem College for seminary. She subsequently earned a B.A. in Psychology. Aliyah is committed to using innovative methods to engage students and make learning a dynamic and meaningful experience. Having worked as a teaching assistant at Emek last year, she is excited to continue being part of this incredible school community.

Adina Sloves
Adina Sloves is Emek’s new Pre-1st general studies teacher. A native of Los Angeles, she comes to Emek after teaching Pre-1st and STEAM at Yavneh. She holds dual Master’s degrees in Education and Pediatric Occupational Therapy. Adina is thrilled to bring her passion for education and the Valley community to Emek this year!

Dana Avni
Dana Avni teaches Pre-1 at Emek. She was born and raised in Israel, where she taught kindergarten for four years. Recently, she moved to the United States with her husband and daughter and is thrilled to now be a part of the Emek family!

Tova Kayla Shifman
Tova Shifman, the Pre-First Torah Studies Morah, was born in Miami Beach, Florida and moved to Valley Village in 2011. She attended Emek Hebrew Academy for Elementary school and continued on to Bais Yaakov Los Angeles High School. She later earned her Teaching Certification from Me’Ohr Bais Yaakov Teacher’s Seminary, while studying abroad. Tova is currently studying for her Bachelor’s in psychology. She enjoys utilizing her creative, musical talents to help educate her students in a warm environment. Tova feels privileged to be able to give back to the Emek community from which she gained tremendously, and to impart lifelong skills to her students.
