Roya Gabbai was born in Iran and emigrated to America as a teenager. She has worked at Emek since 1996, first as a teacher's assistant and later as a teacher. She received her Early Childhood Education Degree from Valley College and hopes to continue in Special Education. She has been teaching a Gesher class for the past 10 years. Roya and her husband, Abe, have 2 daughters.
