Annie Statman, our school counselor, is in her 4th year here at Emek. She has a masters degree from Phillips Graduate Institute in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy and school-based counseling. Annie comes from Columbus, Ohio, and is one of 4 sisters (her twin included!). She lives in Valley Village with her husband, David Statman, an alumni of Emek. She has 2 sons, one who goes to the ECC and one who is in Pre-1st this year.  

Annie is passionate about working with children and getting to know each of them for their unique amazing qualities. At school, Mrs. Statman runs the Middle School Advisory program and a number of social skills groups in the classrooms. She is available to help with a variety of issues, working with students, teachers, and parents alike.
